Friday

We started the day out with a morning walk, instead of run. It was nice to slow things down a bit, and have the kids with us. We really enjoyed walking up and down the boardwalk looking at all of the fancy beachfront houses.

Since Friday was kind of a dud for weather, we decided to just hang around town and do the tourist thing. We got souvenirs, and played mini golf. It was actually really fun.

For our last night on vacation, we though it would be great to just sit by the fire all night. It was still a bit windy and cold, but hey, that's what the fire is for!

Unfortunately all we could find to roast our hot dogs and marshmallows on were little shish kabob sticks. They weren't that long, so we spent most of the time trying to figure out how to keep from burning our hands. But, it was still a fun and yummy way to pass the evening.

We even got beach front entertainment on this night too. there was a big war vet group there for a reunion. Holy drunkenness!!! I actually have a video of these guys staggering around and a few of them passing out, but it is too long to put on here. I just took a picture of the group instead. Seriously, one of the women was so drunk she was passed out on the sand. We were laughing so hard at their stupidity. You couldn't help but be entertained and disgusted all at the same time. We're just glad no one fell into the fire.
