My Husband Is So Funny!!!!!

So, a small little background.... Last week I spent two days re-caulking our bathrooms. It is not fun work, but when I was done it looked great.

Now, forward one week. The stupid stuff is cracking, peeling and looking like crap. I called DAP this morning to tell them what was going on and what they thought I should do about it. Long story short, the lady was condescending, rude and really made me mad. I told her as much, told her I would never buy DAP products again and hung up on her.

To cheer me up, Aaron gave me a list of 10 things I could do to get over my angry feelings. It made me laugh so hard I had to share......

10. Learn how to build a mail bomb

9. Think of as many disparaging acronyms for DAP as you can in 15 minutes (I have already come up with Doucshey Assholish Pukes)

8. Print out pages from the DAP website and use them as Toilet Paper.

7. Smash a tube of sealant with a splitting maul. (Don't worry.... the mess will be easy to clean up because it won't stick to anything)

6. Shoot a tube with Jessi's BB Gun.

5. Spend the rest of your life being the best person possible. Become a saint, recognized by the Catholic church. When you get to heaven, unleash fireballs, boils and hordes of locusts on the DAP plant.

4. Take it out on your next clients hair. When they complain, give them DAP's phone number.

3. Spend your life researching and investing in a sealant that is more airtight than anything DAP can make. Seal every door and window in the DAP plant and suffocate those bastards.

2. Purchase the domain name dapsux.com. Build a website that discribes your hatred for DAP. Build it into a massive internet phenomenon. Sell it to Google for $1,000,000,000. Use the money to track down the b*#@^ who was rude to you. Burn down her house and tell the cops that DAP did it.

1. Channel your rage into intense sexual energy. Look for an unwitting victim to release it on. (hint)

Numbers 7 and 1 made me laugh the most! And don't worry, I would never do number 4!!!!!

Nolte State Park

We had amazing weather this last weekend, and I only had to work until noon on Saturday, so Aaron and I just wanted to be outside. We took our first little mini-hike of the year at Nolte State Park. We love to go here because it's close, pretty, and usually not too crowded. Can't wait to really start our hiking back up!

The Garden Is In...... Again.

Okay, take two. We put the garden in a little early this year, since the weather was being so nice. Not a good idea. The day after was the start of crap, complete with hail, frost and LOTS of rain. Pretty much everything died or was washed away. So, we got the second round in the ground today. Cross the fingers!

For part of my Mother's Day, we went to Carpinito Brothers and bought a few more blueberry bushes, a few things to re-plant the garden, and some flowers to plant on my deck. Now I have a little blueberry forest, but I really LOVE it! One of my favorite things to do in the summer time is go out in the morning and pick some fresh blueberries or strawberries and throw them into my cereal. YUM!!!!

Mother's Day

I had an amazingly awesome Mother's Day today! I woke up to a beautiful sunny morning, got in a great strong 5 mile run and got taken out to a super yummy breakfast to "Maggie's" by the family. Jeff had to leave for work from the restaurant, but at least he got to go out with us.

After Aaron and I got done with our run we were talking to a guy that is always taking pictures of the birds down at the trail. He told us that a Peregrine Falcon just had some eggs that hatched at Snowqualmie Falls, so we decided to head up and take a look........ not such a good idea on such a nice day on Mother's Day. I think the entire Seattle area was up there.

Not to be detoured, we just went over to the old train graveyard and hung out for a while. It was sunny, and as long as we were outside we didn't care!

I so love my family and LOVE being a mom!! I couldn't ask for better kids or a better parent partner! Thanks for such a great day guys!

Yes, We Are Roller Derby Fanatics!

We were off to another roller derby this weekend. It really is a fun, cheap date, so why not! The Foster's came with us again, along with Jeff, Jess and Alex. It was a pretty good time! We did dinner before and Cold Stone after. Gotta love it!
