Jess's soccer game today was better than we expected. It was raining in the morning, so we had visions of sitting in the pouring rain, walking through a mud pit. But, by the time her game started the sun had started to come out.
It was a tough game. For some reason they got pitted against a select team. Jess had to stay in the goal the entire game, because she was just being pounded, and the coach didn't think another player could handle it. Jess did awesome though!!! Even though we lost, she had so many amazing saves, it was totally intense to watch. She should be very proud of how well she did, especially against a select team.

It has been raining here ALL day! I have to say that I miss the cloudy skies but NOT the rain! Anyway, that is pretty cool that Jessi is the only one that can take the heat! It is always nice to be recognized for doing really well at something!
